ABOUT THAI MASSAGE

Thai massage - what exactly is it?

Our massages are in fact a combination of centuries-old traditions, where philosophy assumes that the human body is filled with air particles called "lom" which, when inhaled through the lungs, travel through invisible „sen” lines. Thais describe the process of such massage as compressing and pulling out the „sen” lines in order to clear them and ensure free air flow.

METHOD OF IMPLEMENTATION

Thai massage can be performed by one or two people ("4 hands massage"). The whole process is accompanied by an intimate atmosphere with relaxing oriental music and candlelight. The massaged person is usually dressed in disposable underwear and properly covered with a towel. The masseur works intensively with the whole body using (strictly depending on the type of massage) hands, fingers, elbows, forearms and sometimes even feet. In a nutshell, Thai massage can be called rhythmic pressure on individual parts of the body, combined with stretching them.

Real Thai massages are performed by qualified specialists who treat the patient individually, becoming almost his personal therapist for body and soul. In order to truly care for the condition of our body, it is necessary to pay special attention to the regularity of treatments - especially at the very beginning of the adventure with the touch of the Orient. Each of the massages we perform is a therapy, so it is worth remembering that minor discomfort that may appear after the treatment is a completely natural reaction of the body to stimulating the work of the muscular system.

TYPES OF THAI MASSAGE

CLASSIC THAI MASSAGE

It is a typical physiotherapeutic massage, which aims to improve mobility and relieve tension in muscles, tendons and joints, while stimulating the circulatory and lymphatic systems. It is performed "dry" without the use of oils, in order to maximize the pressure exerted on individual muscle parts.

Such a massage is a perfect combination of acupressure and passive yoga, known as "yoga for the lazy ones".

THAI SPORTS/MEDICAL MASSAGE

It is definitely not relaxing or even pleasant massage. It draws a lot from classical massage, but it is a massage with a much greater intensity of pressure in order to prepare the muscles to maintain the proper condition.

It is a great way to soothe the pain after an intense workout by relaxing and stretching the stressed muscles.

RELAXING MASSAGE WITH AROMATIC OILS

Unlike classic massage, it is a treatment that focuses primarily on relaxing through touch and the aromas of oils around us.

This type of massage is recommended for people who need a large dose of comfort, which will significantly reduce the tension caused by stress and the pace of everyday life.

Oil massage is a typically static massage that requires nothing but relaxation from the person being massaged.

MASSAGE WITH WARM HERBAL STAMPS

It is a massage performed in a lying position, using cotton bags filled with a mixture of carefully selected herbs (such as turmeric, eucalyptus leaves, camphor, lemongrass, red pepper and many others) and heated.

Herbs, thanks to heating, produce aromatic essential oils that have a relaxing, analgesic effect, and also significantly accelerate the metabolism. Skilful compression of the muscles with punches causes almost immediate relief in tension, while pampering the senses with a scent.

This massage is a perfect solution for the autumn and winter season.

MASSAGE WITH HOT VOLCANO STONES

This type of massage is an absolute work of art, combining elements of aromatherapy, thermotherapy and biostimulation interspersed with manual massage. Volcano stones are semi-precious stones, constituting a specific collection of energy that is transferred to the patient's body, causing a feeling of relaxation.

This treatment is to stimulate the work of the lymphatic and circulatory systems, as well as improve the condition of the skin by improving skin respiration.

It has a soothing effect on all muscle tension and significantly reduces the symptoms of chronic stress.

MASSAGE WITH HOT CANDLE

This massage is a ritual for our skin, putting us in a blissful mood. In addition to sensual action through warmth and fragrance, this treatment has a beneficial effect on the condition of the skin, by giving it elasticity and hydration.

The "oil" used for massage is a mixture of natural waxes and aromatic essential oils.

MASSAGE WITH HOT COCONUT OIL / ARGAN OIL

It is a therapy that combines influence on the spiritual sphere with skin care, through the nutrients contained in the oils. It is a great way to relax by warming up our body enriched with the touch of professionals.

COCONUT OIL – Contains lauric acid, which guarantees long-lasting hydration, and vitamins E and C, which make the skin look younger. It has a soothing effect on problematic skin - it reduces the effects of acne or atopic dermatitis.

ARGAN OIL – It perfectly regenerates the epidermis and regulates serum secretion. Thanks to the vitamin E and antioxidants it contains, it protects the skin against the harmful effects of external factors.

THAI SLIMMING MASSAGE

It is a high-intensity massage designed to help shape the figure and accelerate fat burning. It is made with the help of special warming creams that enhance its effect.

The most important things in this massage are frequency and regularity. Only with the right number of treatments it will be effective.

FOOT REFLEXOTHERAPY

It is a combination of acupressure and Ayurvedic techniques. It is an impact on specific organs by pressing the appropriate nerve endings located on the feet - reflexological points. It is performed with the help of fingers, a fist, or specialized wooden sticks.

Reflexotherapy is a therapeutic procedure aimed at treating numerous diseases of the skin and internal organs.
